    careful of 20w in title.

20w is max output only when using cable. wireless is 7.5w max like any other MagSafe power bank that isn’t Qi2.

only Qi2 MagSafe powerbank I know for sale in Aus is the Anker one and it’s $150.

    • I think the Luckyduo one does 15w Wireless on newer IPhones. Have been waiting for that one to come on special. (currently $45)

      • found it. this one right? https://www.amazon.com.au/LUCKYDUO-Magnetic-Wireless-10000mA…

no mention of Qi2. no way its charging Magsafe iphone at 15w. sorry but they are being dishonest.

especially when its $45 no way its Qi2 certified. look at the prices of very few Qi2 Magsafe options out there globally. 10000mAh Anker Qi2 Magsafe is $150 and its the only powerbank I know of in Australia that can do 15w Magsafe charging.

seem to be a few negative reviews also mentioning 5000mAh written on the product, when the amazon page says 10000mAh.

here is some explanation on why "Qi2".
in the beginning the Magsafe iphone models only supported 15w wireless charge through the Magsafe charger puck (circle on the end of the cable). even apples own wireless powerbank (apple magsafe battery pack) only supports 7.5w max wireless charge.
apple announced early on that Qi2 is coming to all Magsafe iphones, but it was disabled in firmware until recently (a year ago I think) they enabled it via firmware update. so apple is a very closed system they never just "allow everything to be compatible". so 15w wireless charge is only possible either through Magsafe charger puck (circle on cable) or Qi2 certified accessories.

    • Got the link to the anker one? Cant find any mentioning 15w wireless.

  • Damn had it in my cart and went for a shower and it was gone

  • I am suspicious. Honey's price history for this item shows that the regular price for the last month was $49.99 until it was jacked up today to $71.99

    • They have 40% coupon running off that time around march which brings it to $29.99. I’m pretty sure they will drop coupon in across their products here and then.

    • Oops missed it but appreciate the @

  • thanks Op, bought one, even though the wife said no more!

  • Only applies 30% off coupon, bringing the price down to $50.39. Am I missing something?

    • there are two coupons. one you have to tick the box under the price before adding to cart. the 2nd coupon auto applies at checkout.

if you cant see the box to tick the deal is over (but might come back looks like seller is adding more tick box coupons after they expire).
