Bosch Series 6 Washing Machine - Clothes Are Too Creased

Hi Guys, I bought a Bosch Series 6 washing machine (front loader, 9 kg). Manual

I always run the machine on "Mixed" program mode as I have mixed load of cottons and synthetic fabrics etc. Mixed program picks up default of : Spin Speed =1000 rpm, Temp = 40 Deg C. Display automatically shows : 4.0kg and 0:46min. So I touch the "Speed Perfect" option and make the time 1:00hr. See the details here of settings. After its done, I always find the clothes are too creased.

I am definitely not overloading the drum and I don't leave the clothes in the drum for a long time (>10mins). I think I am not choosing right spin speed or program or something.

Now my questions are:
1) Does the machine automatically detect the load as 4kg? Why does it always show 4kg even if I have more/less load?
2) Which washing machine program should I use for mixed load and with what speed, temp, duration?

Thank you for your feedback.

I think I am not choosing right spin speed or program or something.

Then try some different settings. What do you have to lose!?

Generally on my Bosch machine, I use the cottons cycle with the fastest spin cycle to get the cloths as dry as I can before they go into the dryer!

The 4.0kg is telling you that the program you selected is designed for a maximum of 4kg (see page 23 of the manual). Generally the quicker cycles can only handle a smaller load. If you have a big load, you need to turn off the speedperfect setting. The washing machine doesn't weigh your clothes.

Try lowering the spin speed as 1000 will crease your clothes a bit. Alternatively you could turn on the easy iron feature (page 31) on the program you want, clothes will be a bit wetter though which makes drying a problem - so I usually only do this with button up shirts.

If you have the time, I generally find 1000 spin OK, and I just shake my clothes up and down a bit before hanging them up to shake the creases out. I normally just wash clothes on cotton setting, 0 degrees. I have a series 8 from 2020.

  • Do a slower spin. I do an 800 spin if I want to line dry with minimal creases

    • My ass is too lazy to iron and my machine too old to have fancy speed adjustments. What might be some other indicators, like delicate/wool maybe?

      • Yeah delicates tends to be a slower spin

        • Awesome let me try that for the next wash thanks heaps, have you tried those ball thingy that you throw into a wash, sorry I'm not sure what they're called or if you know what I mean even… They're supposed to tumble with clothes and apparently do wonders to decrease crease?

  • Great for towels, not so for everything else, even on the lowest rpm

I really sucks the moisture out of them and lessens the longevity.

  • Change the setting to your liking. Thats why theres a million settings.

Ultimately you have a choice wethwr you want creases or less water in your clothes.

I put it on auto and just send it.

    • Insert articles
      Power
      Start
      Beep beep beep
Remove articles and put on clothes line

Since when did cleaning shit become so bloody difficult?

      • @Muzeeb Guessing you are still living in July 16, 622 CE era.

      • Save time: Ring laundry service.
        Pay bills.
        Done!

  • Suggest you use a top loader.
Then the tears will distract you from the creases.

  • Does it have a delicate setting? That would be the one to use.
