Did anyone try to pay bills through Post Billpay lately? I am trying to pay the energy bill but the Paypal option is no longer available.
I was able to do it with Paypal last month and it's not there anymore on Post Billpay website.

Good thing about Paypal is there is a layer to secure credit card details. You know how many firms retain your credit card and leaks it. Or you put into buying something and in inside job happens.
It depends on the merchant/entity you are paying.

The merchant your are trying to pay may not have opted for PayPal payments while signing up for Post Billpay payments

It was Red Energy so yeah. EnergyAU does not support paypal.
I like the pay in 4 installment in Paypal and it does not charge any fees.

Another Paypal benefit is that it supports Amex so I can earn Amex points. Bpay does not allow you to pay with Amex cards.
Wow this actually worked. Damn I have just paid it with a credit card. I'll book mark the link for future payments.
After you choose PayPal and click continue, it shows "The biller does not accept payment by this payment method".
EA lists several Billers there and the one doesn't work for me is 3248.
yeah 3248 is energyAU. I'll port out to another supplier when there is a better deal.

In the good old days you got free postage on returns. I think it was about 10 per year.
As for Post Billpay. Didn’t know that was still a thing
