Came across this fakespot plugin that identifies fraudulent review companies within Amazon and eBay and gives you a rating of how legit the seller and product is based on their review profile. I've test driven it across a pile of listings and it really seems pretty cool. Anyone else heard about this or used it before? Thoughts?

Yep, I've been using it for a while now after seeing someone post about it on OzBargain from a while back, I think?
The only annoying thing I occasionally get with this extension is it won't rate properly on some websites and Amazon listings. Other than that I like it👍🏻.
I'm glad there's been at least one crash test that I know of. xD
Has it actually helped you make decisions before, or more like "yeah that's frikkin obviously dodgy"?
Yes i've been crash testing for a while now lol.
It has helped me, especially with Amazon listings for cheap throw away items like phone cases etc, it's good where is says on the Fakespot analyser page "high deception detected amongst the comments". It's also helped with a few websites that were dodgy that I was going to buy shirts from and helped me decide against buying from them.

I'll give it a go, it's in the App Store so presumably not too choc full of malware.
