I've been searching on Ozbargains for sometime now, for crypto airdrop suggestions and criteria and can't seem to find much on here.

Is there a rule we can share these on here? Thought this would be the place for chasing free money with plenty of fellow tight arses.

Thought I'd post it here as essentially these protocols are just apps/software.

Please share any airdrops you know of if allowed.

One I'm currently farming for is $Gummy.
Season 1 was a great drop for me and the kids they all farmed Aswell. Was fun we were all competing with each other.

This is season 2, no announced end date yet.
So just keep farming for points. And keep an eye on their twitter page @gummyonsolana

Season 1 airdrop was about 100gummies per 1mil points. The kids and I Avg. 25mil in two weeks, so at the peak it was around 500 bux.

There are a couple of ways to accumulate points

  1. Download iOS or Android app banter bubbles
    Create a login and start accumulating points and I'll add instructions to add a wallet for them to airdrop to you. You have to leave the app on without screen turning off. Hot tip for android users screen alive is an app that will allow you to keep screen always on.

  2. Use a browser to logon www.banterbubbles.com and do the same as above.

3.sign up to the teams affiliated exchange
look on their twitter page.
This was a 1134gummy airdrop to your account.

I do a few other free mining, and the only other decent one I recommend is uprock. But please do some of your own research before you use it. It's an android app that shares your internet bandwith, I used it on an old device with nothing on it.
This is a decent one as the airdrop should be coming soon as they were voted as part of the Jupiter launch pad LFG last week.

      Combined win win… Just want some good scams i can be apart of and profit from :) I know when running laptops mining btc in 2010 was classed as a waste of time and scam.

          Isn't that why we're here on ozbargain. I find it fun chasing airdrops. But if you call a few gorillas chump, cool.

        Although I stay out of investing in crypto these day I DO have to agree with the mining thing back in 2010. Had 3 laptops running mining within a pool for about 5 or 6 months on and off.

        Worth just under $10k now. I still have them.

        I played with a few investments in alt coins….lost. The crypto (BTC) I have is because of the mining I did in 2010. I stopped back then because of the smirks and jokes my family made about what I was doing.

        Wish I had have ignored them would be even better off now.

          Still like that 14/15yrs later. I struggle to get friends and fam to listen when farming free airdrops until the airdrop ends, then they get the fomo.

    I'm not entirely sure regarding the rules related to posting Crypto Airdrops on here, seems to be a grey area….
    I would imagine it would be fine if you're not required to deposit your own funds (eg. you don't have to reach a minimum before withdrawing).
    I'm all for it if it means I can receive said Airdrop (ideally without having to KYC), transfer it to a Centralised Exchange (CEX) that supports it (or swap it prior to transferring it) and cash it out.

    this is apparently "the cleanest" meme coin. surprising that it has held and not done the traditional 90% dump. Allowing airdrop posts is a slippery slope. There are legit airdrops but also scams and impostors for those.

      Yeah hence I want to share with fellow tight arses. Everyone assumed a $10 airdrop.

      I know the next season will be heavily diluted from the success of the first. That's why I think doing it with a group of tight arses would be a more analytical approach.

        I'm mixed with Crypto Banter. If it were me, would at least sell $150 worth. Am farming myself now , but would deffo sell into an altcoin and eventually eth, then btc.

          Yeah I've sold some into sol, not enough though. They've done shady stuff before but they all do, like you said this is the cleanest meme coin to come on the market. The next airdrop will be a combination of snipped coins at tge

    I'd be down for more deals like this to be shared. How did you find out about $gumy in the first place.

    I got a random airdrop of $3000 $JUP earlier this year and no idea why. But it's great free money. Crypto is absolutely stupid and no point holding it, but I'm happy to take other people's money.

      I keep tabs of most the big communities. Can't cover em all.

      I missed the jup airdrop but got loads of wen which turned out to be pretty decent. Problem was you only had 3 days to claim. It'll be nice to have a place to remind fellow tight arses about these events.

    I am doing gummy airdrop
    had 5 different chrome profiles farming the airdrop v1

    this time i have 15 chrome profiles farming 24/7 from a VM on my home server

      You would've got an insane airdrop too then?
      Is there a trick to profiles for chrome? Does it need to be the active tab? Damn site does chew up a tad of resources.

      I feel underweight with your 15 accounts :)
      What were your AVG. Points in season1 with your chrome profile?

    I Avg. 1.4mil a day, season 2 started about 5-6 days ago, so have you only started this then? Just trying to figure out if having so many slows down your counter.

    I feel like it would be fine to post but man…. you're opening yourself up to the wrath of the ozbargain crowd. The minute one of these airdrop farming exercises goes wrong (checkout what happened with ezETH through Renzo over the weekend) your reputation will be in tatters.

    Airdrop farming is actually kinda detrimental to the whole process… it's designed as an incentive for people to add liquidity and adoption to protocols and, if the airdrop is designed right, decentralise the token - i.e look at ENS. IF you are farming and not providing liquidity or staking… you're probably wasting your time on a worthless project (like sweatcoin).

    I've received a lot of airdrops just through general use of crypto. My friend is a professional airdrop farmer. Our gains are not that different… only he spent hours farming.

      I'm just curious, on average how much do you and your friend make from Airdrop farming? Sounds like something I wouldn't mind getting into if it's worth it

        There's free opportunities or max gains everywhere you just have to look in the right places. Thought Ozbargains would be the place to collate this. this gummy drop was totally free with multiple thousands made, depending on how hard you wanted to work for it.

        Multiple great airdrops and plenty of crap ones. Jito was a great airdrop for the amount required to be locked up. I missed out but got multiple thousands from staking $tia for $dym airdrop.

        Plenty of free money to be made, so much better when you don't have to fork capital.

      If you don't mind, what you mean by "general use of crypto"? Do you mean you are stacking or participating in liquidity pools or something else?

        I'm assuming he means using protocols, trading, swapping, minting gets you a chance to get an airdrop on tokenless protocols.

        Eg if you used Jupiter aggregator to swap, trade tokens you got a decent airdrop. Which then also got an airdrop in their meme coin if your were using phantom which is a very popular wallet. A lot of people had qualified multiple wallets because of the low barrier of entry.

        Like I mentioned above jitosol, if you staked 1 sol quarter 3/4 2023 you got 3k plus in airdrops.

        Hardest part is alot of these drops don't tell you how to qualify until the snapshot, so people don't farm the hell out of them. Like gummy season 1 people thought it was a waste of time but here we are, this season will be heavily diluted.

            @vasya: Twitter/ X on protocols official account, but for a newbie I stress caution as it's full of scams, fake accounts etc.

            Farming airdrops I define as getting doing activities to get qualified for that protocols airdrop. Some hint on how to qualify, eg staking on a particular protocol, using that protocol eg swap, make transactions.

            Hope that helps, I can send you a few accounts to follow that posts airdrops. But follow at your own risk, if you don't know what scams to look out for.

        .5ish but I think this will change, just saw there update on twitter a few hours ago limiting multiple devices on one network.
