Monitor WFH Minimum 90w USB-C 27-32 Inch - Budget $500- $800

Forgive me I'm not up with tech these days.

My new laptop at work (Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 5) won't work properly with my old Lenovo dock.

So instead I'm looking for a monitor with USB-C that can power my laptop. We have monitors at work that can do this, still get a warning to use the original charger but it works.

  • might be cheaper to get a dock if you have an existing monitor

    • My monitor is 12 years old. So time for an upgrade.

    • That's 65 w pd

      • It'll still charge it, it'll just drain a bit if you have a sustained workload for a while.

I imagine your monitors at work are less than 90W too, thus why it's telling you to use the charger that came with it. My Dell workstation does the same thing.

        • It doesn't detect my 65 Lenovo dock at all.

  • LG 27UP850N will do 90W

    • Thanks seems like a good option.

I'm starting to see 100 w pd more common than 90.

Stupid my laptop only picks up min 87w apparently.
