Howdy all. Currently looking for a robot vacuum to clean the upper level in our house. This includes timber floors all through the kitchen, living, dining, and hall way, then thick pile carpet in 3 bedrooms and tiles in 2 bathrooms.
We currently have a cheap Amazon job(Lefant M1) that cost me $300 keeping our downstairs area (all tiles and low pile carpet) tidy and honestly it does a decent job. Downstairs is very open and simple. The mapping software is poor and the featureset equally so, but for $300 its brilliant.
Upstairs is a different kettle of fish. A few rugs, lots of couches, furniture, kids and dog toys everywhere. So I want something with high suction power for the carpet and dog hair, good battery life for the size, and self emptying. Couldn't care less about mopping. Budget is $1k max. The Deebot X1+ seems to tick the boxes (5000pa suction power seems rare).
Is this a good pick or would you recommend something else?
