So it won't be until mid Jan…

  • I'm not a 'modern urban rider', so I might pass.

The photo made me click…and then I thought of this.

  • a bit expensive for what you get

    • bloody heavy too, 19kg according to the link

Great for the Netherlands, wholly unsuitable for the hilly, bicyclist-unfriendly streets of Sydney.

  • I guess by looking at the pics the bike doesn't come with a helmet :P

    • Nop, the youtube clip shows the guy was not on a helmet when he riding it.

      • As the ad doesn't mention it, it's safe to say it's not included.

Most bikes don't come with helmets, although it is the law for people to wear them, just like seat belts.

although it is the law for people to wear them, just like seat belts.

Since when ??? I've never seen a bike with seat belts ?

        • +2

LOL. I've also never seen seat belts wearing helmets for that matter.

    • So by looking at the pic you assume the bike comes with the meisjes?

      • +2

I wasn't sure when I ordered mine, but sure enough the courier turned up at work today with the two girls as well. It was a right bugger getting them home on the bike, and I cant understand a damn word either of them are saying either. Sounds like the Swedish chef or something.

        • I could do with another bike :-P

  • I wonder what size those girls are riding

  • Is it fully assembled or do you have to put it together?

  • Sturmey Archer- that's a blast from the past. They don't really have Sturmey Archer gears in Holland do they?

  • +1

Lekker, lekker, Black en Decker! Bij cellbikes kost het $699…

  • Like an old American sports car, it looks nice, but would be an absolute pig to ride any distance.
Especially anywhere with hills or wind.
Very heavy, make from cheap "hi-ten" steel.

Sturmey-Archer hub gear is cool in a way, but the photo shows a Shimano.

  • Has anyone else here done the Bikes on Dikes Tour in Amsterdam ??

These looks like the same bikes…

    • Cause they're dutch bikes, einstein
