  • yeah. and check out the feedback.
    possible hijacked account

  • Yes, it is too good to be true. As the address is listed as Square, NSW, drop him a line asking if you can pick it up (cos you are just down the road right?), and await his excuses to avoid meeting you face to face.

  • +1

I reported it to ebay and they have removed the listing.

also "justint_302" no longer a registered user.

    • Excellent - shame about all those previous sales over the last few days, though I would suspect sure PayPal will reverse those sales?

      • IF they used paypal, and not bank transfer.

  • listings removed

  • I Purchased a 2tb external drive from the user justint_302, yesterday I got sent a email from Paypal saying the user has sent it and gave me a link to a postal service and a tracking ID…

Would a scammer go to this much effort?

    • yes - check the tracking online and see if it works!

    • Yes…. you'll find the package probably contains a small item of plastic jewellery.
You will set up a dispute claiming the item is the wrong one sent. You will need to send back the plastic jewellery at your expense…… You'll come to the conclusion that you have been scammed…. depending on your constitution, you may wish to take it further…. waiting the times given by paypal, paying the expense to have the item shipped back by registered mail etc….. or you may consider it an expensive lesson.
