Have this. It's ok for smaller cakes, icings etc. struggles hard with bread or pizza dough.
A small handheld "mixmaster" will do cakes. Surely the whole point of an orbital mixer is kneading dough?
How does this KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer - White KSM45 compare to an Assistent Original - which (at $1359) I could also afford?
KitchenAid Owners: It has a gutless motor but I love the color and matching kettle it's soo pretty!
Kenwood kMix Owners: I'll be handing this down to my great grandchildHow do these compare to the Kenwood mixers?
Kenwood have more power however I found finding 3rd party accessories (knock off) is much easier for KitchenAid

have only limited experience with 3rd party tools and would probably not get knock off Meat Grinder, but basic attachments should be ok
How does the $75 version compare, for occasional use?
