I bought size 9 shoes but they ended up sending me size 8 and I really needed those for a party tomorrow. Anyways, the thing is, to send them back it will cost me around $70. I know they will reimburse me that money but the shoes are worth like $80. Would I get to keep them as no one wins if I have to post it back?
You won't get to keep them. They have systems set up like this, in Australia, most stores have a to address which you put that means payment is already paid for the postage. Not sure internationally though.
