Hey OzB,

If you're into quirky puzzle adventures, check out Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent 2, both on sale right now on Steam! Created by Telltale Games, these games promise a blend of mystery, humor, and brain-teasing challenges that'll keep you hooked.

The humor in Puzzle Agent is a standout feature that adds a delightful charm to the game. It's cleverly woven into the storyline, offering a mix of dry wit and absurd situations that consistently entertain.

  • I don't know why I remember the title having an exclamation mark in it. Upon double checking, I can see that it doesn't, so edited the title. But I can swear that I remember seeing it as "Puzzle Agent!" even last night.
    Must be the Mandela effect.

    • It's the gnomes.

The Puzzle Agent games are fantastic, I give them a re-play every few years to keep the noodle fresh.

Other strong recommendations if you like Puzzle Agent:
The Case of the Golden Idol
Chants of Sennaar (language decrypting/mild action & exploration)
    Pony Island (arcade/programming)

    Haven't got around to playing:
    The other Golden Idol ones,
    Return of the Obra Dinn

And they're so worth it for less than $4.

      Most of LucasArts' games?

      • Yeah I like Lucasarts-style point&click and Zachtronics-style programming ones, but was looking for games more like Puzzle Agent where it's a diverse mix of discrete puzzles more suited for casual playing.

Often I'll start an involved game, put it down for a bit and can't continue later on as I've lost my place and thinking.

    • Return of the Obra Dinn is absolutely brilliant but the 2-bit graphics takes a little bit to get used to

Just finished Chants of Senaar on Game Pass, really really good language puzzler and would recommend.
