SanDisk Ultra 64GB MicroSDXC Class 10 US$48.20 Delivered

Was US$38.99 + $6.21 shipping.
Price has gone up to US$41.99. Perhaps from too many Ozbargainers doing the shipping thing? Still a pretty good price.

Limit of 2 per shipment (was 3).

It was at this price as a Black Friday Lightening Deal yesterday and sold out almost immediately.

Note:
I was able to check out with it the first time. Then I cancelled the order to merge with another and got "cannot ship to selected address". Worked again after a few tries. Item description does say USA only so not sure if they'll honor it.

Select "Retail packaging" to enable shipping to Australia. Thanks to Ozbargainers who pointed this out.

Edit:
Check out the card with a preorder DVD or something and select 1 shipment. The order will be separated anyway and shipping on the card goes down to US$3.96. Cancel the DVD after the card ships.

sweet, just bought 2 for about $42 aud each shipped (saved on shipping)

make sure you select "retail packaging" otherwise you can't ship to oz

really makes me wonder how much profit places like www.memorycity.com.au make since they sell for $65+

Not a lot. Local retailers aren't making a killing. Margins are tight. It's the distributors that are making all the money.

    • +6

I like to support our local reps (i.e. Fran). She consistently offers great prices, service, and fast shipping.

EDIT: Not negging the deal, just the comment relating to memorycity's supposed profit levels.

      • +8

who the hell negged this comment?
Retailers like Fran are what oz businesses should be moving towards and kill off the gerry harvey model

The Aussie prices are high in Fran's case cause of local distributors and not because of the retailer who provides excellent service, the best price she can based on her domestic stock price and offers DOMESTIC warranty

That being said, i only care about price so i still grey import =D

      • Who is Fran?

$10 giftcard from that living social deal a while back

      Yeahhhhhh boi!

      • I'm waiting for a living anti-social deal! :)

        • +1

You pay $5 and get $10 added to the total :)

      • Thanks for reminding me about the voucher. I thought Id never be able to use it.

Thanks op. I needed one for my note 2. Only have 2gigs left.

About $40 at BH Photo, if you wanted to combine post with other deals from yesterday

    • +3

I tried them. Their shipping charges makes it worthless. But I only tried buying the item on its own. Maybe if you add it to your existing order it doesn't cost any extra.

But what is their shipping like on yesterday's deals? If a small card costs $30 to send, I don't see why it would cost less if you're buying a camera or something.

      • Didn't add any extra to my large order, but I see what you mean if that's all you want

  • I wasn't able to get it. It says "This item cannot be shipped to the address you selected."

How did you retry it? Did you delete the item and then re-add it to the cart?

    • read my post above :P

    • +1

Change from Frustration Free Packaging to Retail and you'll be able to ship it.

    • I just bought a pair. Worked fine for me

When I added a preorder bluray, the shipping doubled to $12.20. Is this normal? Is that what it did for you? I get a feeling when I cancel the preorder, the card would still have shipped at the normal $6.21 anyway. Unless Amazon decides that the DVD's shipping is worth $8.24 and the card's is only $3.96.

    • Thanks Op, much appreciated.

Like lostn however, I was unable to get the shipping down to US$3.96 but I had a $10 promo code that I used - this was a great buy regardless. (Perfect for my soon to be delivered Galaxy Note 2.)

  • Thank you, bought one with Otterbox s3 commuter case glacier (the only one they ship to Australia, I prefer a darker color)for $62 deliveried, even cheaper than I bought the card alone here in Australia.

  • +1

Thanks ordered one. Pick retail packaging to ship to australia

  • Got one, chose retail packaging. Thanks OP and others.

  • thanks! ordered one …i didn't try the pre-order thing as i know from my UK orders they sometimes hold the whole order up :(

however, i did buy a WD 2TB passport harddrive for $149 with $6-$7 postage for both items …pretty much the normal special but at least it helps share the postage …ref link if interested: http://amzn.to/Wmmc2M

free free to negative my comment if i shouldn't include link above. thanks!!

  • Good deal.. I paid $95 shipped from an Australian dealer few weeks back.

  • I'd like to know what's the quality of the sandisk 64gb, because I bought 3 from memorycity and all of them were faulty.

    • +6

      Can't help you with that.

However Amazon.com has just about the best customer service and returns policy there is. They send a replacement immediately (as opposed to when your return gets back to them) and then the return is at their expense.

      • I agree. Amazon are great with returns or any issues you have!

    • +1

No problems with mine, Sandisk have always been very reliable for me over the years however I constantly hear about failures with people buying from memorycity.. Didn't buy from them for just that reason.

I question whether they are genuine.

  • just bought 3 - Thanks OP :)
tried getting the 32gb one but that doesn't ship to Australia.

  • +1

wow just paid $65 from memomrycity the 2 days ago. I received it last night so cannot complain about speedy shipping.

    • does it work ?

  • -7

$60 at MSY if you have one nearby and want to support local businesses.

    • +3

To pay almost 50% premium for the privilege?
Happy to support local businesses, but it has to be sensible.

  • Thanks OP just bought 2TB WD passport and this, came to $195.XX.

Paid in AUD forgot to pay in USD could have saved $8 more :( Does anyone know how to get around this? If I cancel the order now and place it again would they have charged my card already?

    • +1

You can cancel if it hasn't shipped from memory. I remember doing the same thing as you, and I successfully cancelled and placed a new order. You just have to go into your account, orders, and you should find an option to cancel it. :)

      • Thanks man but the thing is i only had about $250 in that credit card so if theyve charged me already i'd only have about 50 and wont be able to pay for it again until they issue the refund.

I shouldn't worry too much about it thanks anyway :)

    From an Amazon review ( http://www.amazon.com/review/R2ROV84XHO2AAQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_per… ):

SanDisk has admitted that these cards are not compatible with Android 4.0 or above, that being 100% of Android tablets and a majority of Android phones.

    • +3

Not sure how you even saw that review hidden amongst all the other reviews saying it works great. :p

      More accurate info here:
      http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1812671

It's to do with whether the particular device supports exFat formatting. Nothing to do with its Android version.

    • format it to fat32…. no? dont even need exfat support

    • I use the same cards in my Samsung galaxy 3 and my Tab 2
      Works fine.

I also used it in my Acer A500 Tablet

      All 4.1 android

If you have trouble MOUNTING it in your android
download EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (FREE)
and format it on your PC or Laptop etc

      then pop it in

      Cheers

I sadly purchased one of these from Memorycity last night for over $70 delivered :/

  • great deal..thanks OP..

  • +1

Great deal, wasn't gonna buy one but I was like what the heck an extra 32gb for my phone would be better and for this price why not.

This is why I hate OzBargain but love it at the same time :P

  • Put one in my Samsung galaxy tab2 last night
Works great, just ordered 2 more
    Thanks you

  • +1

I really don't understand why they're willing to ship this in its retail packaging to us, but if they remove it from the box, they won't anymore.

  • Just pulled the trigger on two of these. Thanks OP.
One for my Galaxy Note 2 and one for my future Galaxy Note 10.1.

What's she got to do with these memory cards I don't get it, it doesn't work for me anyway can someone help me out here

        • +1

Her name is Fran too like the local rep mentioned above and she also offers great service ;)

  • +2

Not sure what device I will use this on but thanks.

  • Doesn't work for meh

  • Good deal, bought 2. Should be great for a Samsung Galaxy S3 too:)

  • Bought 1 just then couldn't resist, on that price.

  • has any one had any luck getting the 32gb? looks like the 64gb is the only one, still so much cheaper then local prices.

  • They don't ship to AU?

  • Price has gone up to $41.99?

    • YES

  • Ordered. Thanks for the post and tips!

  • +1

Why are people up voting all the amazon deals that don't ship to AU?

EDIT: ok retail packaging is the key

  • Anyone bought memory card from amazon before? How does the package look like? Will it be thicker than 4cm?

    • +1

I think it came in a bubble envelope. And no. But then that was frustration free packaging. A microSD's packaging shouldn't be very thick though.

  • Ah what the hell, 41.99 is still a damn good price. Just ordered one. Thanks OP

  • Shows $58.84 for me…

  • Arrived yesterday! (oz)Bargain
