Converting Other Giftcards to Amazon Gift Card

Hi everyone, I need assistance on converting giftcards to Amazon giftcards (wanting to take advantage of the upcoming Prime Day)

My workplace has a "points" reward system where you can exchange your points to items or various giftcards. The issue is, Amazon gift cards are not on the list that i can exchange, or any other places that sells physical Amazon giftcards.

Giftcards that i can obtain:
Target, Kmart, Myer, JB Hifi, Woolworths, TGG, DJ's, IKEA, Officeworks, Bunnings, Super Group, etc

Places that sells amazon giftcards:
Coles, Big W, ALDI, Australia Post, 7/11, BP, Caltex, United, etc

What would be the best way to convert the giftcards that i can get to Amazon giftcards?

I thought about getting Visa prepaid cards from the Woolworths, but it looks like they only have limit $100 max, and has like $5.95/$7.95 fee. So if i bought $500, i will ended up spending almost $30 at least in fees.

Then thought about getting the EFTPOS prepaid cards (as they can be loaded with any amount and can be topped up to $500 max), but Amazon does not accept EFTPOS as method of payment on their system.

What do you think is my best option?

  A lot of places doesn't allow the purchase of gift card with another gift card.

  You could try to see if anyone wanted to swap gift cards with you - should work relatively well with cards that get little discounts (e.g. woolworths).

  Can you recommend to your workplace to include Amazon gift card? Might be the easiest option if they are open to it.

    it is an external company. Probably too short to get them ready for Prime Day

  Step 1 - obtain Woolworths gift cards from employer
  Step 2 - do grocery shopping in Woolworths, utilising the gift card
  Step 3 - use the funds ordinarily earmarked for grocery shop, to purchase amazon gift card.
