Hey guys. Another good deal from Amazon. This is a tank of a flash drive. Very good construction with a sleek black finish (therefore the name Stealth).

Notes:

  1. Usually sells for $39.99.
  2. Current Price is $28.99 (Shipping is $6.44). All prices in USD.
  3. Total Price: $35.43 (Approx. ~$34 in AUD - Google conversion rates).
  4. USB 3.0 drive. Corsair Survivors are a great brand to own because they are built to last.

Any mistakes, let me know and I'll correct them. Thanks.

So do I. There was only ever one time that someone asked me what it was. I unscrewed the cap and showed them and they said, "That's cool.". But I get your concern I guess.

      • solid aesthetics, seems a good price !

  • Looks like something I would lose the moment I took it out of the packet hence the name Stealth

  • Thanks buddy… been waiting for these Corsair Survivor's go to on special for soo long!

This a flick knife or flash drive?
Nah..I don't put any weight on appearance. However, what the linked Amazon page states.

    Max Write (USB 3.0) 20 MB/sec

indicating therefore another false representation of the standard.

For a robust drive just get
    SANDISK EXTREME USB 3.0 32GB CZ80 100 MB/sec from
sinceritytrading(ebay) $38 shipped; I can vouch for them as mine arrived in 2 weeks.

    • Is that write speed?

The Survivor Stealth speeds are 80 MB/s read, 40 MB/s write.

You can get the 32GB Corsair GT for the same price from Amazon ($35), it will be slightly faster than the Sandisk and is also very rugged. I also wouldn't even try to compare Amazon to some HK fleabay seller.

    • Don't be so foolish as to not do your homework @Ozb village' neggers.

SanDisk Extreme reigns supreme at the top of any league table.
Fact is indisputable — if 110 MB/s(W) 190 MB/s(R) was not 'crystal' enough for some to process.

      Some daftly delusional punk voters < sigh>…if 150 MB/s ( averaged above) does not show Superior within a range of "$38";

Of course these eBay/eastern traders will continue to suit most all to a 'T' - Top-rated/ 99.1% trader = proof Positive to me…Moan over white trash eroding margin @elsewhere who 'gives'.

& finally..& critically, do appreciate some sensibly advised criteria/formulae as that given, namely
      ((readSpeed+writeSpeed)/2 + 3*copySpeed)/(price + 2) which would point the way to Sandisk
if one would rather right others from decision informed upon marketing immaterial.

If you haven't seen one of these "in the flesh" before, you might want to double-check the size before you buy. They are about the same size as an AA LED flashlight, like the Sipik SK68. Quite large.

  • But does it blend?

    • of course, you buy it and I will prove it. :P

  • I bought one years ago, the thing is heavy and bloody large.
