Well, I've been roped in to this Secret Santa thing, limit is $10. Doesn't matter what gender the gift is for, cos there's some Grinch rule in effect (you can ninja someone else's gift). Cos of this rule a thoughtful gift is out as well…

SS is on Dec 20, so… what should I buy?

    Coles has those large Lindt lanterns on sale for $10. Excellent value for this sort of gift. That sale might end today. I saw it at Coles in Freo this arvo.

    Ikea As Is Corner … some random piece of furniture … I got once a whole divider section (used at the IKEA restaurant) and the 2mx2.4m wall poster boards (incl. some swedish motive) they had in their shop for 10$.

    Buy a few so you can swap them for things of more value. I.e swap that $10 bottle of wine that you wont drink for a $2 usb stick you wont use?

    Would work better if no one knew they were $2

      wow, never thought about taking my name off my secret santa present and replacing with the persons name whom I'm supposed to give a present to.

      That will shake up the establishment!!
