Swiss Watches Christopher Ward 15% Off sale

Anybody that thinks Watches are just functional devices that tell what time of day it is, or who think that anything more that a $20 Digital Casio is a waste of money, please stop reading and leave now, this deal isn't for you!

Christopher Ward is a UK company selling Swiss made watches. I have one of their Trident C60 Professional Diver's watches and it is very high quality. CW sell both Quartz and Auto models of their watches in various styles. CW sells only from its website in the UK, they dont sell in jeweller's shops (at least not as far as I know). Here is a video review of the watch I own to give an idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGqel1WNbqY

They have a 15% off sale and I think the quality of their watches (mine at least) is extremely good, almost as good as my Omega. They ship to Australia and since Aussie buyers are outside the EU, they normally take off the 19% VAT at checkout on their webpage. (as well as the 15% off for the code above). They normally get good reviews on the various watch forums like Watchuseek.

And before you ask, yes I personally would rate quality as good as the regular TAG Heuer watches that I have seen with stock movements (manufacture' and high end models aside) but at a much lower cost (you don't get a poster of Lewis Hamilton wearing one though). I think these are a very good 'Bang for your Buck' Swiss watch.

I'll be agonising over this one all weekend, impulse buy yet another watch or not!

Geez man.. aren't recommendations from people allowed without having someone question their qualifications?
Wouldn't you be better off asking details on WHY they feel that way?

Just that I like watches, I collect watches and I have worn both on my wrist.

      • I own two of these (C5 Automatics), my partner has two of their women's watches - we both think they represent great quality for the price.

For the true OzBargainers out there, if you join their newsletter and wait long enough, you should get a decent deal on the watch you want, as they do specials fairly regularly throughout the year.

  • No offence but keep it simple. If a question comes up and if you like to contribute, answer it. As far as I know this is a friendly site. Don't get intimidated by others.

Chris Ward makes some awesome pieces for the money. I have a Tag which the finish is worse on than my C Ward. I also have an Omega and a Panerai, and I'd say the fit/finish is a fraction shy of these, at a substantially lower price.

They have some of the best customer service going around, and a 60 day no questions asked money back guarantee. After this, the watches carry a 60 month warranty.

The Malvern dress watches and Trident divers are particularly good deals, being around 25%-50% cheaper than what other Swiss houses release with similar specs.

If you have been looking for a solid Swiss automatic at a low price, this is a no brainer at 15% off.

  • Good deal for the discerning OzBargainer, CW even tell you their prices are 200-300% of the manufacturing cost.

Nice understated watches with real Swiss movements for a very reasonable price.

I own 4 of these CW watches and they are all fantastic for the price. One limited edition version sells on ebay for more than I bought it when new. I believe there is a 'post-back money-back' type guarantee as well so if you don't like it - send it back.

Christopher Ward are one of the best mid-range watch makers going round. I have a C3 and it's a beautiful watch. Recommended.

  • bought one, the house can wait.

    • still waiting for mine to arrive

      • Recieved mine today (aviation MK), good looking watch, Swiss made, Sellita SW200 movement, sapphire crystal, leather strap, in terms of finish and quality probably as good as my Tissot but nowhere near my IWC or Rolex. You get what you pay for.

  • Awesome. Just bought the C8 Vintage Pilot. $454 for a Swiss watch with very good retro style. Can't wait. Thanks OP.
