  • My opinion only: tastes terrible. Don’t waste your money

    • My opinion only

      oh good!

      tastes terrible

these cans or Carlsberg in general?

      • All entitled to our opinions(!). Would be a shame to pay for 12 litres of rubbish lager no matter how cheap. Carlsberg in general is a terrible lager backed by a great advertising campaign back in the UK. If only the product was as good as the adverts.

i was being cheeky, so long as someone wasn't holding a gun to your head & making you type in their opinion.

Carlsberg in UK is nothing like Carlsberg elsewhere.

So are you referring to this Carlsberg or UK urinal water version? The stuff in Denmark is quite nice for a pilsner. I seem to remember the Coopers made stuff being a quite close replica.

          rubbish lager

many might suggest that's a tautology, especially my mates in CAMRA

          • @M00Cow: I’ve tried it all over Europe and in Australia and to me it all tastes like it belongs in cat litter

  • didn’t think they made 500 ml cans under license in australia…

    • Origin
      Australia,
      so they are Australian brewed.

      • brewed by Coopers

    • yeah i they they were from Denmark too.
But they'll be made by Coopers.

      • +1

Yeah I’d buy it if it were Danish import. It’s hard to get big name European beers here that aren’t smashed out by CUB or Coopers.

I think Stella and Peroni are imported.

        • Yes massive difference. Carlsberg, were better under CUB.

        • Yep Kronenburg and possiby Grolsch. Such a shame.

    cheap! cheap! 12lt of beer
    $2.08/can
equiv of $33.33/slab of 330ml stubbies

Good for the apparent cost of living crisis. An alternative to colourful $26 4-packs of “craft beer” cans.

so its Pilsner, wish they were Elephant

    • geez i haven't seen them for awhile.

      • Still readily available but around $27 per six pack because of the alcohol content.
