Firstly, if you're expecting bargain basement price, no this is not that type of bargain. This collection was released a week ago.

But if you grew up on the MvC series of games and want to get into the likes of MvC2 or earlier titles now with rollback netcode AND before the general fighting game community moves on to the next flavour of the month, this is a solid $15 cheaper than what it is on Steam and is the cheapest digital version on PC according to IsThereAnyDeal.com. I repeat, this is for those who don't want to wait to get the game, or want to play it when there's still a decent online scene (which hopefully won't go away… but we know what generally happens with fighting games as they age).

Fanatical has the game listed at $57.35 with a 18% discount, and a further 5% discount from using the code 'NAG5' gets it to $54.48.

  Hey thanks for the heads up about this code, looks like it's universal and stacks with existing deals, unlike their other coupons.
  I managed to use it on Dead RIsing Deluxe to bring it down to the same $54.48 price too :D

    Glad you were able to get more use out of the code. I went through about 10 codes that were supposedly active for Sept. Was surprised to find one that worked even if it's just a few dollars off.

    Originally I was hoping something would bring it under $50 but this price is still good for anyone wanting to get the game when there's people online to fight against (I'm not a MvC2 player… MSHvsSF and MvC1 was more my thing so having anyone to vs against there is like finding water in the desert).

    Hopefully the collection does well and the player base stays reasonable. It's been a long time coming and would be sad to see the MvC scene die off again.
