    Says $11.70, can't see a 15% off code.
    Expired?

    • +2

Yeah, got the same issue here. Probably expired?

    • same here, should i still buy anyway?

never mind, average price is 10.38

Lowest price was in May 02, 2024 for $7.17

hopefully in may the price will drop again.

      • Nah not going to cop (although it's not much more if you need it).
Another impulse buy for most people, I don't even have water in the washer reserve at the moment.

  • Thanks OP. Going to see if using this alongside Turtlewax Ceramic Hybrid Wax is going to be counterproductive.

Yes it will strip the wax.

    • As a water/ethanol mix this will certainly have some effect on your Tw sealant

As an alternative, you could try your Tw on your windscreen and just have water in your reservoir. Some say it works well on windscreens - if you apply it properly. Easy enough to remove if you don't like it.

  • Idk exactly how effective washer fluid is but I usually just use tap water…and if I'm feeling like it needs an extra kick, I add a tiny bit of dish detergent into it. It's been working great for me.

Only issue I had was when I got greedy and added too much detergent and a white residue was left on the windscreen. Other than that, I'd highly reccomend based on my experiences.

    • If you have a coating on your screen, the dish soap will kill it. Better to use a ph neutral car wash instead.

      • Hmmm, I don't use any coatings but just use cut/polish with that polishing machine to get it perfectly flat and clean once in awhile. But yes that dish soap seems to nuke everything on the glass.

    • I don't have facts to support this, but I think dish soap is bad for the rubber seals.

  • How best to use this in the reservoir? Is it best practise to mix with a water bottle first before pouring it into the reservoir or do you just pour a cap in the reservoir itself?

    • Latter. Then top up.

    • fluid, then water

I just use a capful of this in every 4 L then chuck it in the washer compartment of the car.
