Cheap New Laptops Wanted - Charitable Reasons

Really need some help on this.

Long story short, I am jetting over to Bali in early January (Jan 12) and I am wanting to donate some notebooks to an orphanage that was set up in memory of one of the Bali bombing victims. http://www.careforkidsbali.com/ for anyone interested.

Really Hoping that I can brighten up their day because they need a few new systems for the people who run the organisation, and a couple for the kids to learn how to use (there are 58 kids, so the more I can get the better)

They don't need to be shit hot, they just need to be able to run most programs reasonably well. They don't need a dedicated graphics card or an i7 processor or anything near it. think general web browsing/skype kind of stuff

looking for the following:
- Any links to really cheap low spec notebooks
- If you are in the business, and you could somehow get me a discount deal.

Will be happy to get through any evidence you require (e.g. letters/certificates/Stat decs).

All up I am looking at spending around 1000-1400 dollars on the systems.

edit: I am based in WA
2nd edit: Also looking for the OS to be windows 7. These kids have been through enough already I'm sure.

      Plenty.

      Having a nice trip overseas and wanting to bring some benefit to others. Not sure where you get the impression that I haven't put thought into it.

      In the middle of organising baggage discounts with AirAsia and have sourced some other goods through my own networks.

      Main problem is the adaptors, but I have been advised they have plenty already so I don't need to worry about that.

      Are you able to provide any help?

    Hit up your local radio station, they always have good connections and will probably give u free air time for you to put the word out to local businesses
