      Its really the matter of what you prefer. I just picked up a pair of XBA-4. I like them. I'm gonna try out XBA-3 now.

    They don't stock ip versions of XBA-3 nor XBA-4

      HN website site says XBA-1VP compatible with iPhone. Most Sony websites says no, but I think the US website says yes…

      Anyone know if it does?

    At Martin Place HN, they had the IP versions at their normal price. Only the ones mentioned in this thread were discounted.

  At my local they are still stickered at the Hardly Normal retail price. But I showed the bloke on my phone the price online and even he was surprised.

    Knox Vic store had it marked down on the system. The RRP sticker was still there.

  These are great prices because the RRP for these are grossly overpriced for the quality.
  Also note the size of the 3 and 4 buds are very large and stick out quite a bit out of your ears, if you are self conscious definitely recommend looking in the mirror before you buy.

    Does it apple to resellers or only if you're buying direct from Sony?

      It was plastered all over the Sony section at HN and double checked with the 12yro sales guy like 4 times till the section manager came to talk. I'm keeping the 4's and the 3's are going back.

      If you have trouble with the fit of the 4's try an over the ear fit… I'm about 45mins in and still comfortable and without eq sound far more balanced than my over ear crossfade lp's but I'm sure I could fix that.

  Have heard great things about the XBA-1s - the others are apparently a bit chunky. At the 67 dollar price it's hard to say no.
