Went to JB Hi-Fi (Westfield, Oaklands Park Adelaide) this evening and found a heap of CDs going for $2.99 each. At first I thought it was a misprint but the clerk told me that there were many discontinued CDs being cleared around Adelaide. I bought Marauder by Interpol.

What's it meant to be called?
I think @BradH13 meant that people generally refer to it as "Westfield Marion".
Yeah, and Westfield Marion is the actual name officially, despite it being in Oaklands Park physically.
Upvote for polycarbonate > vinyl.
The last CD I bought was in the 90s.
Me too.
I don't appreciate the format / medium any more but the quality of the source is still as good as it gets.
I'll never forget Paul Banks being interviewed on Double J around the time this album was released. He went all out bogan, saying he wanted to buy a HSV Maloo.
Keen to listen to it, is there a link out there?
I remember a Bobby Lee podcast in which he kept making allusions to Joy Division and was clearly trying to make Paul uncomfortable.
Found this article on the ABC's website, however the audio link just goes to current Arvos content with no archive. :(
Saw that too. Damn, I'd have loved to have heard it.
Did you ever see/hear any interviews with Carlos?
I always found him to be a bit of a douche tbh..
Plus my ex slept with him, so that didn't help.
@Barry off EastEnders: I vaguely recall interviews back in the TOTBL/Antics/OLTA era on JJJ with Carlos being a huge douche.
It's amusing what exes get up to, lol.
@PinzVidz: Fave album?
I'm casting my for for Antics. I actually really like 'self-titled' and the Julian Plenti
Skyscraper album - its fun and playful.@Barry off EastEnders: Can't say I have a fave, those first 3 albums still blow me away each and every time I listen to them though.
Congratulations. You're the first person I've ever come across in my entire 32 year life to call it "Westfield Oaklands Park".
