Saw some advertising yesterday for Coastr, which looks to be a new app from CUB to get special offers on their beer brands at participating pubs in Melbourne.

New users get $20 credit to spend on pots and pints from CUB beer brands (VB, Carlton Draught, Asahi, Bulmers, 4 Pines, etc) at participating pubs.

The app is available for iOS and Android. I haven’t used it myself yet so YMMV.

    Yes in the app. Not many to choose from, mainly inner cbd.

    Hi all,

    I've taken the plunge.
    Used a referral code from the Ozbargin Referral link herein.

    I got a "Welcome" email from Coastr, which mentions "… we've added a $20 credit to your Coastr app."
    Great!

    But I cannot see the $20 credit anywhere in the app.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction??

    I'm wondering if you can use the credit for anything at these bars - i.e. how does it know if you are buying CUB products or not?

    Only works if the venue has an 'available on coastr app' or similar named menu to order from. Discount appears at father's office but not ABC
