they did say its good for kids between 8 and 12, too much guidance for anyone older.
also had frame rate issues with water background
i got it for free trading pga golf 21 and some sushi atriker games, both games i got here for 10 bucks. they were quite ncie (EB) and said they willing to trade anything
Been watching the reviews this week and definitely coming in mid, Meta 80.
Have put in a few hours today and it's really good (I used EB's trade-in deal with x2 Marketplace cheapies).
Very fun JRPG type, nice world-building and exploration, genuinely humorous writing, different and cartoony art that's a nice change from the typical Mario.
It has a bloated tutorialised start, like most Ninty games, but text can be sped through pretty quickly, and it's kinda needed at least a little for most JRPGs to get your head around even the simplier ones like this.
It'll prove itself in the second half depending on whether the mechanics and story develop and avoid monotomy / repetitiveness…
Were they both pga golf 21 and some sushi striker games on the switch or something? normally they don't provide trade unless each of the trade value are 10$ each, not sure if that is anything especially when i went to many of the stores in victoria. must have really nice staff.

I do agree too on the 3D world - just didn’t click with me, but that’s me.. Funny though that I did enjoy 3D land, along with the other mainline ones. (Galaxy 2!!)

The last game in this series, Paper Jam, came out in 2015.
There’s been a lot hey! But great games. I played through Paper Mario and it was awesome! Mario Wonder is excellent. I’ve started Mario RPG and it’s good so far. And now Mario & Luigi Brothership has just been added to my waitlist. That does seem like a lot of Mario games all released in a short time frame. But how good is Nintendo to be pumpin’ ‘em out and at quality too! **Looks over at Xbox and shakes head in disappointment.
Really enjoying it so far, personally. Always been a fan of the Mario and Luigi series and this feels really nice to play.
Jeebus! Wish I got this instead of the EB Games trade promo, the games I swapped in were probably worth more individually!

I didn't downvote you, it's a legitimate question.
Places like Gamespot and IGN gave it pretty low scores and some stuff on Reddit doesn't paint it in a good light. But in the end all that doesn't matter if you're digging the game.
@cnut: OK. IGN and Gamespot, I don't pay the slightest bit of attention to what those bottom feeders think. They are worse than trash.

this didn't work for me. I used the burner email and my order was cancelled by target.
Ordered this via same process last night. I've had an order confirmed email, but no shipping notice yet. Hmm.
I ended up going to JB-HIFI and asking them to match. The best they could do was $62.95 matching Amazon. I didn't try the burner email via JB to get the $10 extra off. I had to go to EB-Games anyway and cancel my pre-order as they would only match $69 from JB.
Just another option if you too have the same issue.

Heard this game didn't get the best reviews.
Surprised it's already discounted, especially for a first party Nintendo game.
