The absence of read/write specs on the manufacturer's site rings alarm bells.

According to Amazon, the bigger brother (ie. the 32GB model) is a DOG,

A dog means 11mb/sec write speed. That's phenomenally slow for USB3 - and very slow for USB2.
I'd personally give this a miss - even though the price is cheap. Something that performs like this is just not worth it at any cost - the slow speed would drive me nuts… Now I need another coffee ;)

    • I posted benchmark results in the last deal which featured this USB. I forget off the top of my head the numbers but I do remember there were vastly mixed results depending on the batch it could be pretty good for the price or be slower than a decent USB2. All depends on the batch.

This would be a better deal for $11 shipped, or $30 for 3.

  • so 2 delivered for $22.44 (BOGOF + $2.49 postage) ?
think it would make more sense to have this in the title instead if this is correct

Looks like you have to pay postage on both items
