So i went into officeworks oxley to buy a crappy pre-paid phone for me old man. I noticed that they started to secretly sell the Samsung Galaxy SIII for about $670ish.
Although this isn't cheap, I'm sure you could get it price matched from online prices. This way you'll get it pricematched with the 5% off, Australia stock and 12 Months warranty.
Let me know if anyone else has seen other OW stores selling this phone and/or have attempted to pricematch :) thought i'd share.

Seconded. Being a new, high-profile product, no doubt they'll be cracking down on the price-matches.
If these are really Aussie stock, they should have 2 years warranty, not 1 year, which is normally what comes with grey import stock.

I was suprise to get OW to pricematch an online shop. Probably the only way to pay less than $490 and get a 2 year warrantee.
If you did purchase from OW, can you post a copy of your receipt.
Was in an OW before Xmas and was told they couldn't pricematch to stores selling stock from overseas (or something) and their cost price was $540
If I can show them a copy of a receipt, then they may play ball
I very highly doubt they'd come down that far, OW won't loose money on a deal like that
So not going to share receipt I'm guessing?
