$95 for any colour combo available. Managed to get them for $85 with the newsletter signup deal which isn’t too bad for original joycons. Not sure when deal expires but I assume it’ll be soon

    I'd always say Pro for any game. Obviously best when docked.

    I use a Pro controller and the 8Bitdo Bluetooth Ultimate pretty much exclusively, but for movement games / minigame games like Overcooked, Mario Party, Warioware etc the Joycons are the most supported.

    thanks same question I had. I am new to the switch having just bought one yesterday and Ive ordered two pro controllers for playing at home so i don't think I'll ever need to buy more joy cons as I will be able to play up to 4 player Mario kart with my two pros plus the existing joy cons

    so I guess the use case for buying extra joy cons is if you don't want to splash out and buy pro controllers or another alternative option?

    If you want 2 extra players this for sure, if it's just for you the pro controller is so much more ergonomic

    They are both pretty good. You can have more total - ie 8 Joycons vs 4 pro controllers. Useful for 8 player games like overcooked etc.

  Thanks Jjjohns! Got a pair to replaced our pair closest to death. Is this an all time low? I don't recall seeing official joycon so cheap.
