The Walking Dead is a five-part episodic game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic books featuring Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes.

This is not another shoot ‘em up; it’s a game that explores some very dark psychological places, revealing that the undead are not the only thing to be afraid of when society crumbles.

In this brand new story, you are Lee Everett, a man given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell.

Experience a dark, visceral and emotional series where every action and decision you make can result in the story changing around you. This tailored experience means that your story could be very different to that of someone else.

Save 25% on additional episodes in The Walking Dead game series by purchasing the Multi-Pack [Episode 2-5 Bundle] via in-app purchase.

All 5 episodes are available via in-app purchase.

So, is this just Ep5? Or the entire series?

  • 331mb for the first episode, would assume approx 2gb by the time you download all episodes

  • Is the episode 2-5 multipack ever on sale? Though I doubt I'll play episode 1 and manage to hold out.

    • Looks like is has only been on IOS since 25 July 2012, so it may be a bit too early to say

You can get the whole thing on sale from steam. I've got it and its awesome :)

      • +1

I got the steam version via Amazon pretty cheap recently, and wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 75% off in the coming Xmas Christmas sales.

    Needs more android :(

I'm so sick of droid fanbois complaining when apps aren't available for them, they knew that was an issue when they decided to get a droid. It's like moving next to a pub and then complaining about the noise.

      • -1

How's this for an idea: No one cares what you think.
Good work assuming one is a 'fanboi' (nice spelling by the way, you too cool for school fella you) because they own one particular system over another too. The only ignorant fanboy here appears to be you, chump.

        • Good work assuming I'm an ignorant fanboy. I've owned an iphone, I've owned an Android; the Android sucked. There is no ignorance, I've learnt through experience that I prefer an iphone to a droid. Have you legitimately used both for a length of time?
Besides which, I never claimed anyone was an ignorant fanboy, I said they knew what they were getting into. Knowledge is the opposite of ignorance.

          group hugs?

      • Programming for both platforms is incredibly easy.

        • Programming for both platforms might be easy, but programming for the multitude of different phones that run Android isn't and I was actually surprised to find out, costs a lot more money than developing for iOS.

        • Bullshit.

          .. and many more.

          multitude of different phones

If an app is written properly, it's not an issue.

  • Purchased this on Sunday for $5.49. I waited so long and finally bit the bullet and this happened. I guess I got to enjoy it for 2 days though. Now onto Episode 2. Awesome game.

  • best show, I'll give it a try….

So much LOVE for this game! I loved every minute of it. If you like the TV show you'll really enjoy the game! You have to make some pretty tough decisions in the game. Say goodbye to your usual chipper game-based decision making models, and say hello to heartbreaking music times perfectly with the consequences of your damned if you do/damned if you don't split second decision making. Although I played it on PC…which I'm guessing might ooze a little more bitterness and gloomy ambience than an iOS port…but it's free. do it.

    And yeah. scary ++ :)
