    Just so someone knows, this does have a slightly different sound profile than the SM7B with a cloudlifter or other booster. You'd think it wouldn't, but no. At least that's how it sounds to my ears a little different, doesn't have that same resonance that the SM7B does. Still a great mic though!

      I use a regular SM7B with this device, it works great! I do suggest using the plugins with the mic, be it noise suppression or otherwise from within the Wave software.

    As Australians for the money the Rode Series of Mics is just to good for the price not to ignore. Slightly worse sounding (Less than 5%) but a 1/3 the price.
