Need for Speed - Most Wanted for Android - $0.94 US ($1.05 on AU Play Store). Regularly $6.99

420

Need for Speed Most Wanted is $0.94 cents (US Price) or $1.05 on Australian Play Store.

This game usually sells for $6.99 (US) or around $7.05 in Australian Play Store.

Notes:

  1. App Size on Play Store is 12MB.

  2. There's an additional 604MB of game content to download.

Opinion: Personally, I feel the game is much better than Asphalt 7 yet Asphalt 7 is more than double the size at 1.6GB. I feel like NFS Most Wanted is smoother, the graphics are better and with USB OTB and DualShock controller, this game is truly awesome. But that's my opinion. NFS Most Wanted runs beautifully on the Android devices I have - Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Note II. Hope that helps.

Root Users: You can use the DualShock 3 controller with Six Axis app and play this game without requiring USB OTG. Instructions here (not my blog): http://blog.thinkteletronics.com/?p=578

Non-root Users: I'm able to use DualShock controller with USB OTB on Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Note II. But unlike Asphalt 7, GTA 3, GTA Vice City, all I'm able to do is pause and start the game. Controls are not working yet. I'm trying to check options and googling for info.

    .99c for iOS as well.

    • Good catch. I was hoping the 99 cent Gameloft iOS sale would come to Android but it didn't. Hopefully for Christmas or New Year's sales.

  • If it's $0.99… isn't it $AU 0.95 (devide by ~1.05, making it more of a bargain)?

The prices are set according to each Regional Store (Australia, Europe, NA etc). I'm not converting the price.

        Learnt something new today.
        Thanks :)

The Australian dollar is currently worth MORE than the US dollar so since it's USD$0.99 you actually multiply by ~1.05

I'm not a moron, man. I did not do any conversion. The prices are set according to the regional store. US Play Store's price is 99 cents. Australian Play Store's price is $1.05. If you see the link, it says NFS13_ROW which is Rest of World. If you go to the NFS13_NA, you can see the North American price.

Link for North America: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.n… - 94 cents actually.

Who are you calling a moron? The game is US$0.99 when visiting the play store from an american address, and $1.05 AUD from an Australian address… It has nothing to do with exchange rates, it's just the way that Google or the seller has priced it.

It appears winhhh is the moron afterall ;)

  • Snapped this up earlier today and am just now trying to download it. Is it just me or is the download super-sluggish?

    • Mine is downloading at 290kb/s, slow for what mine usually does but still a somewhat okish speed.

    • I downloaded it to my Nexus 10 earlier. It was downloading at 1.4MB/s. My connection goes to a maximum of 1.9MB/s. Maybe more people are downloading it now. Edit: Downloading to another device and it's fluctuating between 1.6MB/s to 700KB/s.

  • Is Asphalt 7 always 99c, or is it on sale too?

  • Asphalt 7 is worth 99 cents as well. :)

  • bought it. thank you

  • Not compatible with the XOOM, apparently. Bugger.

  • Good game and great price. Thanks.

    Was waiting for this.
