I've seen a lot of people complain about long postage times from Video Ezy, but my experience was a great one. Pre ordered Far Cry 3 cheap cheap on PS3, nd it arrived 6 days after release here in Aus. Can't complain with that.

    • They seem to be good if the item is showing as in stock, if it's not you will wait

    • They can take a while unfortunately, but its so cheap its worth it. My orders went from "Not released" to "Backorder".
      That was a sad day.

I concur. I only had a 2-week-problem with Halo 4, whereas my PC games went smoothly, and arrived in about a week. Hitman: Absolution shipped before the release date, which was a bonus (not as good as beatthebomb, but still).

I think it's unreasonable for people to neg based on long shipping times. Regardless of the possible (luck of the draw, really) shipping times, the prices are some of the best, and some people don't mind having to wait (myself included). Sure, voice your discontent and warn others, but it seems self-centred to neg, solely because conditions don't suit you (particularly because even a few negs conceal the deal from others).
The only thing I am annoyed about is the lack of notice as to whether your game will be back-ordered or not. It wouldn't be half as bad if they told you their stock availability prior to purchasing (or at least prior to release day).

        Indubitably a caveat emptor

  • I preordered Farcry3 and just got it…..

So yer it took nearly a month after ordering it and 2 weeks to send it out to me.

  • Is there any reason you can't buy gift Vouchers at 10% off and use them straight away?

    • None that I can see

      • What? How do you get 10% on the vouchers, tried buying some and didn't seem to be discounted.

  • They have Thief4 as a preorder :o but it dosent say if its steam or not.

  • Good price for Wii U games!!

    • Ozgameshop have no price on this game but $40 seems a good price for any shop.

      • It's ~$52 at Zavvi (which is my other go to place for UK imported games) and they're generally cheaper than Ozgameshop, so this is a great deal.

I got a bunch of games from Video Ezy during their first 20% off sale and they've been great. I knew there would be a wait so I didn't mind but got all my games within 2 weeks of release.

        Additional information:
        - Shipping is $2 (not sure per order or per item) but if I recall it's free if your order is over $60
        - Games I ordered were UK stock shipped from Hong Kong

  • Just so you know, video ezy drop-ships a lot of it's stock from overseas, took literally a whole MONTH to get my copy of Halo 4 i had pre-ordered - it has been sent direct from hong kong…

  • Yep, I bought a copy of Xcom last sale and it took a couple of weeks and shipped from HK. And, of course, not Australian stock.

  • Hey, guys. I made a gift voucher at http://www.videoezy.com.au/giftvoucher and added it to my cart, but there is no discount applied to the voucher in the cart. I'm only testing it for when I get some more money, but are the vouchers discounted later in the process, is it in-store vouchers only, or is there something I'm missing here?

    • Indeed. Can't get it to work.

      HELP?

  • Video ezy is rubbish. Last time I ordered halo 4 on preorder a month before the release date. On release day it went from being dispatched to backordered. 2 weeks later it went to dispatched again. 4 week's later it had not arrived. Had to PayPal dispute it. Arrived 2 days ago and it is the Chinese version of the game.

Shame I can't neg video ezy… never will I buy anything off them, even if it was 80% off. Avoid if you want it quickly or were looking for aus stock…
