  • Does it come with a Hard Drive in it ? Does that mean…a 1TB NAS for about $33 (including shipping) ?

    • was 29.xx with shipping

  • Surely this is a price error? Regardless, I have ordered 2 to try my luck!

    Thanks for posting

    • noworries, you got the transaction completed?

      • Sure did! Awaiting the dreaded refund/cancelled email though

  • For all the deficiencies of this unit you can't even buy a 1TB drive by itself this this amount.

I think I'll get 2 and set up mirroring.

edit: Damn, I missed out, unless than didn't have enough in stock (or realised the error).

  • Insanely cheap.
    Bought 2.

      Sh!t. Sold out during checkout

  • Pricing mistake? The ad on the email says it is $109

  • Sold out. :-(

  • Got this error:
Sorry. We don't have enough 'CS-X1.0-AP' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again.

  • scored 2.

  • Sold out

  • won't let me add to card

  • Yep sold out

  • +1

Out of stock? Can't check out - "please lower the qty in your cart" - I have 1 in cart

Reviews I read say it requires an internet connection - does this mean it doesnt work locally as just LAN Storage? I think this is some weird attempt to make a local-version of "online cloud-storage" which probably failed dismally and that's why they are flogging them off cheap. If you can rip the hdd out though good deal.

  • I bought one ! :)

  • Damn. I missed this one.

  • haha i saw this deal when first posted and noticed low price and thought it was crappy empty shell so i ignored it
    :(

    • I shouldve put the RRP on title …

  • updated as sold out :(
I bought one (atleast thats what the invoice says)

I believe this is a pricing error. Home page shows it as $109 which links to product page showing $19. Clearly an error.

  • +7

Managed to get one. Not too confident that they will honour it though. I won't be getting angry at them if they cancel what appears to be an error.

  • +1

At such a good price im sure Buffalo would love to buy them back ;)

  • Damn that was fast.. Thats a whole lotta NAS for $19!!!!

  • +1

i'm guessing it is a pricing error

    Another SS stunt?

    • do you even know why youre getting negged?

    • yeah thats right. go and neg all my comments. if you were smart enough you would have realised that this is not SS

Just phoned them now and asked, and they said it was a price error and they 'might' be cancelling the orders that went through due to the price error and stock levels.

    • That's not a no :)

      • Fingers crossed they honour and dispatch the orders at that price and get more stock!!!

    • +1

Some nice detective work there +1

  • Darn, so disappointed I missed this!

  • Once I saw the title(roughly Only 6+), I clicked "go to deal" immediately but was still to late :(

  • Knowing Shopping Express ( deal with them before ) I will give 1% they will honour it.
Sorry guys, but dont hold your expectation too high …

  • +1

Shopping Express has been good with bargains lately, so taking advantage of a pricing mistake is a bit like biting the hand that feeds you…

    • +1

At that price they're lucky not to have their whole arm nawd off by OzB…

I personally had bad experience with Buffalo Ext HDD, I personally steer clear of this brand.

    • +1

Don't mind to sell your 1 TB NAS bad experience to me for $19?

    • Don't know what went wrong in your case , but i have 2 Tb of this one …it works fine for me,
it downloads my torrent downloads + you can access your contain from anywhere via pogoplug app and web interface…..not bad i would say…

Well, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they cancelled your orders. They would have every right to, too. I used to work at Harvey Norman, and when stuff got mispriced we would always get the vultures that weren't content to buy just one, they would be greedy scabs and get like 10, which made the company lose out big time. Over the 5 years that I worked at Harvey Norman, the company probably lost around 1-3 million dollars from scabs out to cash in. I know, technically, it's the fault of whoever placed the ad. But people see these misprices and don't actually think of the ramifications of purchasing such mispriced goods. The bigwigs don't care, they still turn a tidy profit, but the workers suffer pay cuts or cut back hours because of incidents like these, which is why I don't support people buying mispriced items. You could be contributing to the unemployment rate in the country.

    • or they can just not honour it …… the staff cuts were probably going to happen anyway

    • +5

That is just a lousy excuse for those listed company CEOs to increase a few more million dollars bonus by cutting employees hours or pay rates. Regardless the company is making billion dollars of losses they would still fly a private jet to ask Obama for a bail out. But for Shopping Express pricing errors i can understand if they dont honour it.

Well, it's finally happened. Can't blame them really.
