    Quartz :(

    • There is definitely something about a good automatic watch. I love the fact they feel alive when you wear them.

  • More accurate then $5000 Automatics.

Or the same accuracy as a $12 casio. Wow.

      • But how many chumps leaves theirs on a watch winder? I got one auto that i wear everyday and a nice quartz chrono when going out. Depending on your use, a well made, ar coated sapphire (a must i would pay extra for) watch with an eta quartz, which only changes a few second a year, might be perfect

  • It is quite a nice discount although my smartphone tells me the time most days. actually, come to think of it it probably has done for these past few years… but wishing you a Happy New Year.

Some people like to have the time around their wrist instead of needing to pull the phone out of the pocket and press a button or two. Much quicker.

      • yes, yes I expect some do. I just I felt it a nicer way to say I dismiss the jewelry.
        Happy happy time-keeping + NY.

  • I have a Tissot. Even though it's Swiss made, I have to adjust the time every few months (it goes about 5 minutes slower). It's not as accurate as I was hoping from a Swiss watch.

Weird. I've had a Tissot for about 10 years now and it keeps its time really well. Only time I need to adjust it is for daylight saving!

Nice looking watch… Pulled the trigger on this one!

  • Simple elegant design was what hooked me in. Plus the sapphire crystal face. Friend has the same watch in stainless steel band, cost him apparently $700 in Australia! What a rip.

  • Similar watch, few dollars cheaper, free shipping. Have purchased from here before, delivered in a couple of days to Sydney from Hong Kong I believe.

Similar… but more ugly. Each to their own i guess!
      Happy Christmas!

I think it's fair to say that Tissot is the VW in Watch business. Value for money (not at AUS's pricing of course)

  • Anyone bought this watch and received it?
I bought it on Christmas Day and received it last Friday. The watch was in good condition but there is no warranty card in it….. Just wondering how did others receive theirs?

    • Got the reply from Amazon:

"Your watch is covered under the Amazon.com Two-Year Limited Warranty in lieu of the manufacturer warranty. Since Amazon.com is not an authorized dealer of Tissot, manufacturer warranty cards are considered void and are therefore removed from your shipment.

Manufacturers typically require you to register your watch for warranty coverage and to present a warranty card any time your watch is serviced. With the Amazon.com warranty, you don’t need to worry about either of these things. Your warranty is considered in effect from the date of purchase and you don't need to register your watch until you actually require service. You can always find our warranty information online. "

I'm happy with their service. :)
