What cheap items would you buy from the US to bring back in a suitcase?!

Weird request…

My fiance is staying with relatives in the US right now and has a bit of space in her suitcase for the trip back.
I've already asked her to bring back some clothes and a watch…struggling to think of what else would be significantly cheaper over there (that would be easy enough to fit in a suitcase)?

What would you guys bring back???

    Megan Fox

    • might require disassembly to fit in the suitcase.

  • I'd get some sneakers like Nike Free and clothes. Perhaps sunglasses too.

  • cool, thanks for the suggestions guys

not sure how the missus will be with Megan…

anything you might need that's electronics.
    esp camera gear from B&H.
    Tablets etc.
Apparently everything apple is cheapest in the US also.

  • Clothes, esp brand name ones. I was buying RL Polo shirts for $20 at one of their many outlets. Loads of bargains in the Timberland and Hilfiger outlets around the US. Levis also very cheap. As others have said running shoes etc. Laptops, I bought one from Amazon when I was last there, had it delivered to my hotel room and bought an AU power adapter from eBay when I got home. I also bought a Garmin GPS watch for running to keep track of my heart rate/calories/distance etc, nearly 1/2 price in the US. I bought Rockport business shoes there, loads of ski clothes (I go skiing in the US a bit). I also bought an Omega Swiss watch there once, a genuine one from an authorised jewellers with a full warranty, not a knockoff, was almost 1/3 of the price of the Omega shops in Melbourne.

  • If you need Board Shorts like rusty, billabong etc you can pick them up a lot cheaper than what city beach has them for and they are light. Undies, singlets, wallets, purses, belts, socks.

Things that aren't clothes… I brought back a butterfly knife a few years ago. Also a flick comb - instead of a knife coming out a comb does that was pretty cool. Reeces peanut butter cups. Max quota of alcohol and cigarettes.

Lastly i guess you could probably fit a midget in the suitcase and spice things up in the bedroom.

    • What if the OP is already a midget married to another midget?

  • Chewing tobacco
