Gaming PC Recommendations for under $3000

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for a gaming PC under $3k.

I need a PC with a X3D CPU that will get me the most performance on the most recent mmo's but I'm not familiar with what the best options are. I am also worried that potentially a 50 series build will come out and be available at my price range.

Do any PC guru's or tech store workers have any suggestions for my situation.

Thank you.

  • Wait for the 50 series and check if the game even supports/benefits from DLSS.
Meanwhile get inspiration from https://au.pcpartpicker.com/builds/#c=1613&s=41&sort=rating&… as a starting point.
Guessing you'll want an AM5 platform as AM4 is at end of life.
    4k budget allowing for specials

Grats on avoiding World of Warcrack.

  • I grabbed a similar build to this (for similar price) 6 months ago or thereabouts.

It's been pretty solid, but if you wait you'll likely get a greater discount once fifty exty ex GPUs launch like many others have said.

    Mine was this build: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/851297

I might add, this newer build actually has a way better case with good looking airflow, a faster SSD, potentially better motherboard. Worth noting.

Nebula has been very handy with communications when I have any questions which is nice too.
