    Thanks for finding that one. unfortunately, the deal link doesn't seem to work, which must be why it didn't warn me of the duplicate when I posted this one:( I'm not sure who posted it, but you need to go through the official club links which are emailed to members (or posted here) in order to get the discounts.   Hi jazzriley,
  Just wondering how the content of the downloadable software compares with that on EdAlive's online product ZooWhiz.
  Also, will the downloadable software continue to be updated, or will future development be focused on the online product?

    Hi Peter,

    The educational content of www.zoowhiz.com is based on our CD/Downloadable 'BRAINtastic' titles.

    The benefits of the online ZooWhiz version are a) it's free for the most part. b) a child can sign into there own account from anywhere… Home, school, laptop, desktop, iPad etc. c) very shortly teachers and parents will be able to view reports on their student's progress, follow their improvements and identify areas that need more study. Again… All from any Internet connected PC in the world - not just the one that had BRAINtastic installed on it.

    Of course, there are always times when an installable product is often more appropriate. Eg… For use on a child's non-Internet connected computer, or in areas or homes where reliable broadband Internet access is simply not available or affordable. Or even in cases where kids simply can't get enough of the cool built in rewards games included in BRAINtastic :) Also where other titles like Maths Made Easy, or Typing Tournament or multiplayer games like Numbers Up are desired… All these are catered for through CD/ downloadable software.

    As far as updates for the CD/downloadable products… We'll continue to do our best to keep them updated to run on both Mac and Window's latest operating systems - and they currently run fine on OSX 10.8 and Windows 8.
