Both myself and my sister can no longer update our Netflix Indian subscription. I've tried with VPNs and multiple cards, including my Wise card.
Any workarounds? Or do I cancel and try a different country?

I wonder if Netflix prefers users in Australia paying with an India issued credit card or a user in India using an Australian issued credit card (both on an Indian subscription).

When Netflix caused issues with me and my payment method a had to evaluate my netflix usage. So they went from getting a few dollars a month out of me with only the occasional usage, perhaps 5 hours a month, to getting no money from me. Not a good business choice. I'd guess a large number of people would just cancel rather than sign up at the BS Australian prices.
I did that with Youtube Premium. Mainly used it for Youtube Music. Was paying whatever the Indian rate was, they said I need to pay Australian and something like $17/month. F That. Cancelled. Now you get nothing. Found Spotify is way way better for music.
Yeah, I had youtube family from India for years, until a month ago. No way was I going to pay $33 for a family account here. Bought an iPhone to pay Turkey rates through iTunes. Added bonus was a Google One sub too

Netflix can get rid of one staff member and it would more than make up the loss in revenue from you geo abusers
They've cut down on password sharing, geolocation workarounds and keep ramping up prices. The result has been that their revenue and profit keeps going up.
Pretty sure that large number of people isn't large enough to matter.
We went through the ritual of trying different credit cards and standing on our heads and all that, then decided Netflix simply wasn’t worth the trouble.
Instead, we keep an eye out for good shows and find them ‘elsewhere’.

I don't watch on big TV screen, only on laptop or iPad. So, it's not worth it to pay normal price for me.
Since they cancel my Indian subs last year, I am giving up on hoops.. use brave on my phone, smarttube on my tv..

But always bear in mind that, if it takes you an hour every month fiddling with VPNs and foreign gift cards to save $20, you’re effectively paying yourself minimum wage. That may not represent a value proposition.

For those in this situation, can you please tell me if you can still access Netflix? My subs expired on 28 Jan and unable to pay with my usual Visa card. YET, am still able to watch netflix, and daily email frm them reminding account on hold.. and i cant switch country even tho I have cancelled netflix…. So.. possibly a loophole?? ^_^
