Cheap breakfast on the Gold Coast?

I'm heading to the Gold Coast in a few weeks with my partner, our hotel has a buffet breakfast for abot $20 each. It has a lot of very average reviews online so not too keen on it.

Has anyone got any cheaper recommendations? Preferably in the surfers paradise area but would be willing to travel for something really cheap

  • Search shopper dockets. There are good discounts there and they are accepted.

  • It's not "cheap" but Food Fantasy at Jupiters has a good variety of food for breakfast and they cook omelettes to order, included in the price.

Haven't been to Versace in ages, but the food was great last I was there. I haven't encountered a lot that's cheap on the Gold Coast. It usually means we go to the supermarket and make our own. The other option is Mc Donald's.

*Not really breakfast; more like brunch; however it's at Jupiters Casino

      Another options is to

      1) Sign up for an Absolute Casino Rewards Card(free)
      2) Go to Bite(Located inside the Casino; so you'll need to be 18 years+, which I'm assuming you and your partner are)
      3) Get one of any offers
      December Offer: http://www.jupitersgoldcoast.com.au/whats-on/restaurant-and-…
      January Offer: http://www.jupitersgoldcoast.com.au/whats-on/restaurant-and-…

For $7.50, it's quite decent, it's a very, very casual restaurant

      • Yes it is like brunch. It does finish at 10am most days though. I think its later on Sunday. I'd forgotten about Bite - do they offer breakfast? I thought it didn't open until later? Definitely a great choice for lunch or dinner. Don't forget that your absolute rewards card includes a free drink each day from the machine (maybe more if you have a higher status on the rewards card, depends how much you play the casino machines).

        • 11am till 6am, so not really breakfast

The drinks are 2 for Red, 6 for Pearl, and unlimited for black.

You can also get mount Franklin bottles at the table games

Then show it at the RSL club for a discounted breakfast.

  • Close to the $20 of your hotel, but this place is great, good coffee, great smoothies and good food - http://www.m-b-d.com.au/

  • As Buzymum20 says, have a look at shop a docket:

    http://www.shopadocket.com.au/Search/Search?SearchParameters…

That link will show you the cafe and restaurant offers within 20k's of Surfers Paradise and there are a few breakfast offers in there. Some of the offers will be expiring in the next couple of weeks but new ones will also be loaded early in January.
