Vodafone has doubled their network coverage, from around 400,000 to 1,000,000 square kilometres. This means you’ll experience enhanced coverage in regional areas and as you travel. They are offering $10/mth off plan fees and double data for the first 12 months.

New connections only. Price offer excludes SIM Only connections with WA postcode.

    Thanks marketing team

    • I don't work for Vodafone

      • Then he wasn't thanking you lol

  • Do they allow data share under the same account?

  • You won’t be able to use the data because they are so slow!

    • Here in Western suburbs of Melbourne Voda > Telstra > Optus

  • Vodafone is actually better than telstra here in Melbourne CBD, also they have tie up with Telstra to provide them broader regional coverage.

    Denser areas are newly built areas where they don’t have towers nearby else coverage is good in metro Melbourne, or surround suburbs Preston, fairfield, Fitzroy, Richmond etc.

  • What about the other 6.8 million square kilometres?

  • Is there a big market for 720GB /mth ?

  • Is 720GB /mth good for personal hotspot, i.e. home internet?

    • tethering is fine;

      …"the SIM-only plan is not intended for use as a home internet service. While you can use your phone's tethering feature to connect other personal devices, the terms state that the SIM "must not be used in a modem or as a substitute for a home internet service".

      FYI, they upped the included data, it's now almost 600GB for the $29.50 plan, and almost 1TB for the $34.50 plan. I don't know if this is a temporary bump, or just their new base minimum for the plans, but one can't complain. The prices I stated are only for 6 months, though.
