Nope. Thank the person that posted the codes for getting them all blocked :(

  • Entertainment Book - you can get them for $11.70

    • that's pretty good although I don't have an entertainment book.

      • I think you have to pre-purchase vouchers from entertainment book and pay $5.95 shipping as well

  • go on tuesdays … entertainment book cost $65 :(

    • Entertainment Book is worth the price though, it got discount for Woolworths. Coles, etc. And also heaps of dining, hotel, etc, well worth the $65.

      It's the ultimate OzBargain book.

  • Boycott until they release new movie coupons!

However i couldn't wait so i ended up going to RACQ. $10 each. All up it cost me $34 and some change can't remember exact amount. That's for HFR Vmax 3D Surchage and without 3D glasses as i already have some.

As a comparisson it was $50 without using RACQ and without 3D glasses. I just wanted to try out this HFR thing. I was planning on seeing Jack Reacher and some other films but i wont now because it's to expensive.

  • Not sure about events but if you are optus customer you can get hoyts tickets for any day for $10 which includes online booking and everything and if you dont have optus ask any of ur friend to buy online vouchar for you From yestickets.com.au for the theatre you want to go and you can book it by urself. I am using it from nearly 6 months.Bazinga

    • Yeah, it used to be Event Cinemas…

EC is popular in NSW, especially north. Hoyts is popular in VIC.

  • Same as Creditcardguy, I use Optus rewards for $10 a ticket. Best to know when you want to see something in advance though as some states, they have to post out the tickets to you

    • Do you know what the lead time is on eVouchers? Is it typically sent in hours or days?

      • Used Optus ones last weekend. They got sent within the hour. Read that people have reported between 20 minutes to 2 hours to get email vouchers.

  • thanks for all the replies

  • there is also Australian Movie Voucher. http://www.theaustralianmovievoucher.com.au/ not event or hoyts, mostly dendy or palace etc. The cost varies, $13 - $15 + shipping. and you have to buy book of 10 minimum.

    • It got IMAX though.

Check with your company, it may have corporate special deals.

  • What about buying ticket vouchers?

Here's one company that sells unrestricted (no Sat evening) Adult Event Cinema tickets for $12 (min buy 10). (link below)

My university newsagent sells them for $12 (adult). Unfortunatley, this means you'll have to buy a physical voucher ahead of time.
Here's one company that sells them online. Event Cinema adult tickets for $12. You need to buy 10 tix and batch mailed to you for $4 (I think you can actually pick them up from their office). I can't find a better ticket voucher company that will bring it closer to the corporate buyer/Optus price ($10) but I'm sure I could if I searched more thoroughly.
