I'm subscribed to M365 via this deal and received this from Apple:
Subscription Price Increase
The developer, Microsoft Corporation, is raising its subscription price from ₺15,99 per month to ₺ 229,99 per month, starting 4 Mar 2025.
Sharing in case other users might be impacted and not aware.
Email, but the dates and price doesn't align with the App Store.
Email stated:
Effective 14 February 2025, the price for Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions will increase from TRY 229.99* per month to TRY 329.99* per month.
There's also a notification under subscriptions in the Apple App Store.
Haven't gotten an email or notification yet in ios app store, looks like its happening in waves
Lot of other apps have increased their price in the TRY apple store, too :(
Turkey has high inflation.

TRY 329.99 is AU $14.58, nearly same price as buying at RRP from Microsoft AU.

If the price for you would be more than a 50% increase (according to Apple), I would ignore it. It looks like that can't do such a big increase anyway. If there is any increase, it would have to be less than 50% otherwise it would cancel if you don't opt in.

Developers who offer subscriptions can increase the price of a subscription without interrupting the service only under certain specific conditions. If the increase does not exceed approximately USD 5 and 50% of the subscription price, or USD 50 and 50% for annual subscriptions, and where permitted by law, developers may change the price without interrupting service. Developers may do this no more than once per year.
If the subscription price increase is above the thresholds, exceeds the annual limit, or occurs within territories where the law requires it, you must opt in before the price increase is applied. If you don't opt in to the new price, the subscription will not renew at the next billing period. You can subscribe again within the app or on the Manage Subscriptions page.

did anyone figure out a solution?
I canceled when I saw the increase email, but when I went to App Store and subscriptions it said continue sub for 23,99 for family account so I did and it’s fine like it was ….
i received the same email but my price is still at 23.99 too. ive had a renewal since 4 march.
No price increase for me yet. I just got a renewal today at 23.99 TRY.
Mine is through the OneDrive app.
Looks like family pricing is fine, while personal is updated.

just waiting for my current individual one to expire, and let's see.
I am in the trial period for the family plan and am worried if they notice ans increase the price before my trial ends. Do you see any annual subscription option? If so I will try to find if there is a way to skip the trial period.
I was on the individual plan but the price went up so I cancelled. But now if i use my turkish apple account and try to do it via the OneDrive app I don't see an option to upgrade. Do you remember how to do it because I want to try signing up with a family plan
Has your trial or plan ended? If so you can go to Setting - Your name - subscriptions - onedrive under inactive then all plans.
@hiaaron: Yeah it ended, but i can't see the option to ugprade. i took some screenshots of it check here
@sleeperc3ll: Mate, you are looking at onedrive setting. I am talking about iphone setting. Go to settings app then click your name on top.
@hiaaron: My bad. Nah, the only option there is to renew personal (229,99 Lira). There's no option to change it to family plan
