    last time i brought a light into Australia, I got a customs letter saying it was destroyed. And if i do it again i go to court!

        i think he is either mistaking this torch for a laser (which high watt ones are illegal to import as far as i know) or customs mistook his torch for a laser.. but im also keen for clarification

        i know people who have imported these from OS with no issues recently and OP also says you will get a refund if this happens, so no big loss either way?

      I've imported a few of these torches.
      Never had an issue & wouldn't expect one.

    Ive had so many issues with these torches, they are very good when they work, the trouble is the contacts made with the battery sometimes do not make a very good contact and the torches will not switch on, or will be dimm.

    Here I have a suggestion: get a new spring
    For the length of batteries and the light body are fixed, a long/big spring can ensure good contact.

      Thanks Leftdrop, i may spend more time trying to fix the two torches, they both have a different problem with contacts.

      Also thanks that customer service is able to be contacted, but ill try and solve the issue.
