Is this ok to buy? IPPO Q78 7" Android Tablet from FocalPrice

Is this ok to buy?

http://www.focalprice.com/CE0208B/Q78_7_Android_403_A13_12GH…

I have no understanding/experience with computers. I just have my home laptop. I was looking at buying this and wondering if anyone out there is kind enough to steer me in the right direction. I realise it is only 4GB I just want it to play simple games, surf the web etc. i honestly do not even know how to connect this to internet? If anyone wants to help, that would be amazing! Would all the parts be compatible for Australia? Charger etc? Again, any help, very appreciated. Thankyou.

I think this model has been panned before on these forums, the 800x480 resolution is one thing that jumps out at me, but search this site for other comments.

If you are not prepared to risk disappointment, possible DOA unit, warranty issues, wrong charger plugs and other annoyances that a tech fan would take in their stride, I would suggest buying from a local retailer that imports, tests them before shipping, and provides local warranty.

    • thankyou. very helpful.

i have one of those $200 samsung 7.7 galaxy tabs

        nice device

        it has 1gb ram/16gb storage

dual core cpu, same dual core mali400 gpu

1,280 x 800 screen and its fine in games and just general surfing… you can read newspapers and forums and pdfs full size with the resolution

        its bearable on 1,024 x 600 screen

its not workable on an 800 x 480 screen

you need to get close to the spec of a $200-$250 tablet like a nexus 7

those cheap ainol tablets in the $125-$150 would be close

        • Thankyou again. Plenty of good advice here and mention of products that I would not of known to look up. Greatly appreciate the help. I am now investigating the possiblity of getting Wifi in my home. We do not have a landline at present, looking at Prepaid, if there are any tips or things I need to be aware of.
