Oakley Hijinx Sunglasses (Polished Black Frame & Grey Lenses) at OPSM for $79.50

10

Not sure if this is store specific deal, however I popped into the OPSM store in Brisbane Myer centre last night and picked up a pair of Oakley Hijinx sunnies which were tagged with a 50% off sticker and were reduced to $79.50.
Note: I can't find the exact model on their website so I've linked to the same model, but different colour.
The model I bought has a polished black frame & grey lenses.
Also noticed they had a few other Oakley sunnies reduced.

    • No, these were not the polarised version, however I did notice some of the other oakley models they had on special were.

Blerg - fashion-oriented shades thus hardly distinguishable from the deal expired from Christmas - Men's Sunglasses A$3.96 (Usually A$15.87) @ Hallenstein Bros, A$3.96 delivery, IMHO.

However, one may apply OPSM's filter & narrow down which provide stronger eye protection or comfort http://shop.opsm.com.au/sunglasses.html?gender=+13&lens_tech…, with ~$200-$300 indicated to buy the polarised lens improvement.

Alternatively the aviator-style Lai Pen 7202 (ebay)-polarised photochromic transitions w/ grey lens I ordered after Xmas look pleasantly similar to these 'Ray Ban RB3483'(Out of Stock), but sensibly AU$36…so it made an easy choice for such a pair of glasses. 3 still available, plus they actually state the dimensions, which makes shopping the more convenient.

    • Prefer the Ray Ban's in that link

Oakley are the best when it comes to sunglasses, great clear lenses.

yes, have to agree with this. not all of them are super expensive and their construction is great and you get the best lenses.

        • I have never paid full price for them, buy them from Sunglass Hut 40% off family and friends, or get it online from the US. Will never go back to cheapies again.

Ah…"better", LOL! Nicely substantiated. AU$36 is not real cheap but certainly money ($100) one might save by dismissing brands…a point which fortunately many grasp with respect to 'sunglasses'. Myriad dollars to be saved when you exclude throwing cash on meaningless labels. Just look at the lens technology.

        • Looking at that aviator link and the description, "The Frame: Be designed by professional Designer, Designed with fashion models ,confortable style, best match color.", you have me convinced………Although, on 2nd thoughts, I think I'll stick with the genuine brands rather than cheap rip offs thanks.

    • Sure, any one can go with a [tortoiseshell Plastic], just baring in mind this thing it is designed to hold may be doing for our eyes..long term. Even to discarding the [$]/value arbitrament.
