YouTube (Desktop Website) Layout Changed to 2 Big Video Thumbnails Per Row

The default layout used to be 3 tiles per row , but somehow it changes sometimes to 4 tiles per row (too small to my liking) and now even worse after it became 2 tiles per row (too big, too little screen estate, had to scroll a lot).

I don't know why recently it keeps changing the layout by itself. Is there any way to revert back to 3 tiles per row ?

Thanks.

Make your browser window wider. Or press "ctrl" + "-", or "command" + "-".

    • It's already on 'maximize' window to whole screen.

Thanks for the workaround by zooming out, it does what i needed although it used to be 3 tiles per row even on 100% view by default.

If you're using Windows check the screen resolution, see if there's any scaling options. And if you use the browser zoom function then "ctrl" + "0" will reset it back to the default, if you ever forget what the default is.

I'm more interested in your search history algorithm that suggests those 2 videos.
