  • Im finding it hard to consider any more headphones unless they have some kind of smart tag tracking on them. They are so easy to lose due to their size now. Fwiw, these are bluetooth 5.3.

  • +1

These sound great but they have terrible mics, so I don't recommend these if you need to wear them for phone calls often.

    • Yep. Apparently Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 and Jabra Elite 10/Active 8 are the way to go for calls.

      • If calls is your priority then go for the poly v5200, but its a mono headpiece

  • Almost bought, but i read the touch controls cant be disabled. They also can fall out during heavy exercise.

    • They are less likely to fall out compared to other earbuds. You size the QC Ultra using the correct sized mushroom tip and ear spacer. The ear spacer makes it more secure than other earbuds like the Galaxy Buds Pro.

      • I'm more concerned about the touch controls as i personally cant stand them.

        • Didn’t have any problems with touch.

  • They look huge, not sure how comfortable they are.

Very comfortable and I have smallish ears! The audio is awesome! I don't use mine for phone calls so can't comment about issues on mic performance.

      • Can you confirm if touch controls can be disabled? Just in case Bose released an update since the last feedback I've seen.

  • I bought these for $274 recently, using a TechRadar voucher and now expired $40 Amex cashback.

No doubt the ANC is amazing - almost disconcerting if you don't like the "blocked ear" effect. Sound is also excellent. The spatial audio surround sound efffect also works nicely, though takes some getting used to.

The case is much larger than that of most other earbuds, including my Jabra Elite 8, Technics AZ60s, though in real life it doesn't bother me too much. In real life, I also found their heft vs other earbuds to be fine.

    No connection issues so far.

The main bummer for me besides the case size is no location tracking/location alarm in the case like Pixel Buds Pro II, and no wireless charging. I thought the latter feature useless until I got caught with flat batteries in the buds and the case. With a wireless charging case, i could have used my phone's reverse charging feature to top up my buds.
