I am confused with this deal, I traded eligible games and they still charged me 2 for 109 and took it out of the money I was getting from the trade in. I asked another store about it and they said the same thing too? It's only a discount? So has anyone got it for free with the trade in?

Yeah like I don't know how else are you supposed to interpret free but staff from two different stores said the same thing so I have no idea!
Sorry, but some staff do struggle with how these work. First time I asked about this deal I was incorrectly told it was EB plus members only. I ended up getting the deal, once I showed the ad online. When you trade in the eligible games they should increase the trade in value (shows as trade in bonus amount on receipt) for each to cover a third of the price of $109.
@chicky682: Yeah they have increased the value but for games that are getting 15 bucks trade in normally you'd get about 35 and so all up with 3 games you're getting an extra 60 or so. Then they're charging 2 for 109 for it so you're still pay for some of it

Bought ps5 clearance games from JB hifi for trade in, (metro exodus and farcry6 copies to be exact) seems to be the cheapest way for me.
Ok so it's not actually 'free', they just give a bonus on the 3 selected games that meet the criteria and then in the system it just gives you more trade value while still charging you for the 2 games. So roughly with the math it's still about 55-60 for 2 games, depending on what you trade in, good deal but not free

Is the trade deal EB World members only? I can see the games @ 2 for $109, but not the trade deal.
