Looking for bargain!!! Westinghouse 610L fridge

I am looking to buy a 610L stainless steel Westinghouse fridge.
Can you amazing Ozbargainers guide me to the best deal.

P.s. What is the meaning if factory second? As I saw the from HN outlet

Comments

  • Factory second can mean the following
    Carton damage
    Warranty return
    Refurbished
    End of production/discontinued

  • E and S trading currently have 15% off storewide - including fridges.

    http://www.estrading.com.au/

    • I can imagine how many exclusions there would be.

    • Can someone advise if the kitchenaid mixers are included? Website says $689, which is not 15% off $749

    • Thanks for letting me know. The discounted price were $1520 and I recall HN was selling for $1489.

  • The prices on the E & S website do not show discounted price - you need to look at the catalogue on the front page to get an idea of the discounted price - or take 15% off the price of the product on the website. Hand held kitchen mixers seemed more expensive at E & S than a couple of other stores we looked at, but the fridge price I got was the best anywhere - they even beat Appliances Online by a mile!

OK, a little further info for you the 610 L Side by Side Stainless steel Westinghouse is listed on page 8 and 24 of the E & S catalogue as $1298. You didnt mention what style, colour or model of Westinghouse 610 litre fridge you are after, so this is the best I can do for you. The rest is up you - maybe pick up the phone and give them a call or drop in to a store…..

    • Thanks so much gaylem50! I will go to E&S tomorrow morning.

Skip HN & try Masters if there's one within cooee.
They used to do price beat, but now price match (sticker price), their delivery is quite reasonable.
Plus they take wish cards (if you can get them for 5%)

we got a a 610lt side by side, after 10% price beat, 5% wish cards, $50 off because delivery was late, etc for $950 (down from $1180, or $1280 in HN)

For the factory seconds, look at the warranty period. I certainly wouldn't get one without a full 2yr warranty.

Google Shopping is quite good for price comparison. Also check Ebay Stores, because if it's an actual store (which can be phoned & price confirmed) they'll price match.
