AMP Bank will credit $50.00 AUD into your Everyday Account and/or Everyday Business Account (up to $100 AUD Cashback for opening both accounts) on your AMP Bank app if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

i) you open an AMP Bank Everyday Account or AMP Bank Everyday Business Account on your AMP Bank app by 11.59pm Sydney time on Friday 21 March 2025; and

ii) you complete a minimum of five (5) purchases (via Apple Pay, Google Pay or your AMP Bank Debit Mastercard) available with your AMP Bank Everyday Account or AMP Bank Everyday Business Account on your AMP Bank app between 9.00am Sydney time on Saturday 1 March 2025 and 11.59pm Sydney time on Monday 31 March 2025.

You will be able to claim two (2) Cashbacks on both an Everyday Account and Everyday Business Account if you hold both accounts with AMP Bank on your AMP Bank app. Each customer is eligible for a maximum Cashback of $100.

        You can provide it, but it wasn't necessary.

        They have a list of stuff you can choose to upload to prove you have a business. I chose professional certifications & uploaded some bs spiritual healing certification from google images + put my name.

    You can do 0.01 x 5 via split transaction self serve at Coles / Woolworths.
    The attendant will come and see if you need assistance though lol.

        I tried that this morning at Coles. But on the 4th transaction, it didn't get approved. May have to tried on another day to complete.

      As they do their identification manually to open an account, I would think they will check the transactions manually too like Bankwest did. And with five one cent transactions I will be curious to see if they see that as taking advantage of the offer and not genuine usage.

        If they decline to issue the bonus, a complaint to the Finance Ombudsmen will likely be sufficient.
        There is no $ minimum value per transaction specifically cited.

          Guaranteed to be a "fair use" disclaimer which would give them every right , but I'm sure your complaint will go far. Just like they'd have the right not to pay you for any reason whatsoever and need not inform you why . I suggest you read at least one financial disclaimer before passing judgement .

          I think just five transactions on the same day in the same store at the same time. That’s not fair use and it taking advantage. I may be wrong but these bonuses from the look of it are manually issued. I recently had a promo with Bankwest. I did the transactions but they were all like under $5 as they were my daily coffee and also fruit purchases from the markets. Bankwest did not pay out as they stated I was putting through small transactions and not using the account off my daily shopping.

    Are they approving this manually for every applicant during this day of age especially when we have AI? Not surprised if they are as Australian CEOs are ultra conservative when it comes to change and tech. This is why Australia will never reach the height and wealth like in the U.S.

      But you purchased it… And yes it was a purchase. You gave yo your digital info, to combine with what they've already purchased or will purchase from the data brokers, to target their products and services

      On top of that, why does any bank exist most without anything special (we are the few not the many), yet millions still have numerous. I've more bank accounts in my name thank I can count… The only two that charge fees have been CommBank (who I got to zero out upon closure because I never activated the card or used the service) and Bendigo Bank who I'm tied to via my credit card that's mean maxxed since I got it 20yrs ago. Not sure why I've never just paid it off in full cuz now it's a problem that needs planning!

      AMP Everyday Account does not charge International transaction fees and overseas ATM withdrawal fees. I plan to use this overseas as a backup debit card in case the other ones does not work e.g. UP, ubank etc

    Do we need to wait for the physical card then add it to Google Pay or Apple Pay?
    Or can we just use the digital card that you get after application, and tap it on the terminal using your phone, to get 5x taps?

    I'm thinking to pay 5x$1 payments on my gas bill which worked well for the ING promotion. T&Cs indicate this will be fine.

        Yeah the T&Cs says the period to do the 5 transactions but I can’t find where it says the $50 will be credited into the account? Usually deals like these will be x days after the promo end date.

    Interested to find out the issued plastic card doesn't have the card number on it - which is great. That said I don't really use physical cards, but it is still better to know the number can't be copied.

      read on the news in the next 1-2 years all CC will not have a number on it. we generate numbers from the app to make online purchases or when we need, and it changes each time.

    opening the business account was troublesome first it wouldn't recognize my abn on the android app and then they emailed me asking why i didnt enter the abn and to upload proof of running a business.. i just did 5 x 1 cent wallet taps . is there any minimum tap amount required? appears to be a world card. what are the benefits of world? can you use it to register for the MC flight delays offer if the card number is masked? still have a personal old savings account with amp on the old app. i wonder if i open a new personal account via the business account app will i qualify for another $50?

        You can send a photo of your business registration letter from ATO or a business bank or credit card statement or merchant account invoice as proof of being in business. Best chat via app or call their 1800 today before midnight so you don't miss out on the $50

    Why has it been marked expired ? Doesn't account opening end today at 11.59pm? Then we have until April to do 5 taps. Btw for those wondering how to open another account be it personal or biz you have to use the same up click on main just above your balance then you will see option to open a new account.
